The Great Alaskan Dinosaur Adventure is a real story about five men who went to Alaska in search of frozen, unfossilized dinosaur bones. After flying out of Fairbanks, Alaska, they saw nothing but wilderness as far as the eye could see. Their destination was the Colville River two hundred miles north of the Arctic Circle. They planned to be there for two weeks. On their adventure, they encountered lots of challenges, and LOTS of mosquitos! Of course, an Alaskan adventure is not complete without a moose sighting! On their adventure they thanked the LORD for each new day. The LORD provided everything they found and all the struggles they endured were worth it.
Here are some things I enjoyed about the Great Alaskan Dinosaur Adventure:
- It is a non-fiction book; a true story.
- I was very interested in the places visited by the team.
- It is a well-written, easy-to-understand book.
The Great Alaskan Dinosaur Adventure is a must read book for kids, adventure seekers, and those who want to learn more about dinosaurs and how they confirm God's Word. I recommend reading the Great Alaskan Dinosaur Adventure. Thank you New Leaf Publishing Group for providing me with a copy to review.
